It is very important that your vehicle is serviced at correct intervals. The 12 month (10,000/12,500 miles) service is carried out at intervals of not more than 12 months, even on low mileage vehicles. If your vehicle only does a low annual mileage, for example less than 3,000 miles, you must have a service carried out every 12 months. This is because the condition of your engine oil and other fluids will deteriorate if you use your SsangYong for short journeys or infrequently. Other service items are dependent on time and not just mileage covered.
You can find your service intervals in your KGM/SsangYong Service record provided with your SsangYong or by checking with your nearest SsangYong Authorised Repairer.
Periodically, as the time and mileage increase, your KGM/SsangYong Authorised Repairer will automatically undertake the additional work shown in the schedule.
It is strongly recommended that the maintenance services are performed by a SsangYong Authorised Repairer who will have trained technicians and genuine parts with which to maintain your vehicle properly.
Inadequate, incomplete, or insufficient servicing may result in operational problems with your vehicle that could even lead to vehicle damage, an accident or personal injury. It can also invalidate your cars warranty.
